Science students from Bridges displayed an amazing array of investigative science projects. All were exceptional and some even earned high honors. Our very own Bridges Spartan Donna Bui won 1st place for all of 7th grade at the District’s annual Science Fair. Her engineering project, the Recyclable Cardboard Sweeper, was unanimously voted for 1st place by all 5 judges. For the project Donna had to go through the engineering design process by coming up with a real world problem that needed solving, building multiple prototypes until she found the one that worked best, and then writing up the process of her whole project in a journal and on a display board. She also had to present the project orally multiple times to multiple judges, all of whom were very impressed by her knowledge and poise. Her Science Teacher, Alison Cook, said, “Donna is very creative and always produces excellent work. I am very proud of her!” Congratulations to Donna for her excellent Science Fair project and win!
