The community gathered for our annual Winter Arts and Music Showcase. It was special opportunity for us to gather and celebrate the holidays and winter season. Parents and community members got to see our students’ art that they have worked on at this point in the school year, and listen to the Band classes perform music that they have learned in music class. We began the showcase at 5:00 pm with opportunity for people to view amazing art from students displayed in the gym. You can see from the pictures that students put in hard work and used their talents and what they learned at Bridges to create spectacular art. From 6:00 to 6:30 pm, we were entertained with traditional seasonal music and modern music performances. The music students began with a holiday bell-ringing performance that delighted all attendants. The advanced band class performed with a variety of instruments including keyboard and guitars. The audience smiled and cheered throughout the performance and even got to participate in one of the performances by keeping the beat of the music with stomping and clapping.
