Bridges students had many quality and adventurous experiences while at the UC Berkeley field trip. Students got to give high fives to robots and discover how science majors help teach robots to learn. Students viewed priceless artifacts and petrified bones of dinosaurs and ancient primates in the Berkeley Science Building. For fun and to participate in a Berkeley tradition, students from Bridges touched the 4.0 statue, which, according to Berkeley legend, ensures a 4.0 in their current academic classes. Several Bridges students also got to pet the campus llamas, which is a traditions at finals time to help students relax. A great time was had by all. Students commented that they were inspired to succeed with earning the right to attend an elite university after graduating from high school.
