Dear Bridges Academy School Community,
My name is Alejandro Frontini and it continues to be an honor to introduce myself as the Principal of Bridges Academy. As a parent and educator, this is a significant responsibility and one that I am very excited to have. Our mission at Bridges Academy is to make sure we strive to influence positive change in our students’ lives and futures by empowering them to discover their voice and dreams.
From 2000 to 2002, I was a High School Principal in Mexico, fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of a Middle School Principal in the United States. In 2002, I participated in a National Contest in Mexico, and was awarded with the opportunity to participate in an exchange program. After a strict scrutiny I was invited to come and work for our district.
I hold a Masters Degree in Second Language Acquisition, with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Certificate for Overseas Teachers of English by the University of Cambridge. My goal is to continue creating an educational and cultural environment conductive to student learning and personal achievement. Prior to joining our leaders team, I was a Language Arts and ELD Teacher at Bridges, where I cultivated an inviting, encouraging, highly motivating and supportive learning environment where affective and cultural factors were taken into account when planning and teaching my lessons.
On a personal note, in my spare time, I enjoy playing with my two kids, Alex and Nicole, reading, and going to the movie theater with my wife, Doris.
You are always welcome to email me at:
Please feel free to come by and say hello to Ms. Cobarrubias or I in the office or call us at 408.283.6400 during regular school hours. Again, I am honored to be the principal of our outstanding school and look forward to working with all of you during the year.
Mr. Alejandro Frontini
Dear Bridges Academy Families,
My name is Ann-Marie Cobarrubias and I am honored to be the Assistant Principal of Bridges Academy. Before beginning my career at Bridges Academy I had the pleasure of working in San Jose Unified at the High School level. I realized that we need to reach our children at the Middle School level in order to help them find success later in life. Middle School is a very important step in our students educational career and I’m thrilled to be a part of it here at Bridges Academy.
During my 13 years in education, I have taught special education, been a program specialist and worked in various alternative education environments as an administrator. I am excited to be a part of the Bridges Academy community and staff as an Administrator in Franklin-McKinley School District.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my kids, playing with our dog and riding bikes.
